ITV has confirmed a major overhaul of The Voice UK for its 15th series, with Alesha Dixon and Stacey Solomon taking over as hosts and a refreshed coaching panel following the departure of Sir Tom Jones.
The broadcaster officially announced the new line-up on Friday, 11 September 2026, as filming for the upcoming series commenced at MediaCityUK in Manchester. The changes mark a significant shift for the programme, which will see long-serving presenter Emma Willis depart the show to front the 2026 series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Alesha Dixon and Stacey Solomon will form a new presenting duo for the 15th series, which is scheduled to broadcast in 2027. They replace Willis, who has hosted the competition since it moved to ITV. Willis is set to join a new three-person presenting team on Strictly Come Dancing alongside professional dancer Johannes Radebe and comedian Josh Widdicombe.
The coaching panel is also undergoing a substantial reset. Pop icon Cheryl and Manchester rapper Aitch are joining the show, taking seats alongside returning coaches will.i.am and Kelly Rowland. The move follows the exit of Sir Tom Jones, who has been a mainstay of the programme for 14 series.
The departure of the 86-year-old Welsh singer has been met with some public friction. In a post on Instagram, Sir Tom claimed he was told his exit was due to “financial difficulty with insurance”.
McFly stars Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones are also confirmed to be leaving the coaching panel at the conclusion of the current series.
Despite the announcements for the 2027 series, viewers can still see the current line-up in action. Series 14 is currently airing, with the next episode scheduled for Saturday, 12 September 2026, at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
