The BBC has confirmed the return of its flagship Friday night talk show, with Graham Norton set to welcome a host of Hollywood stars. Season 34 of The Graham Norton Show will return to BBC One.
The first episode of the new series features a high-profile sofa, including Tom Cruise, Florence Pugh, Lolly Adefope, and John Bishop. The show, filmed in London, will be available for catch-up on BBC iPlayer immediately following the broadcast.
Hollywood icons and West End debuts
Tom Cruise leads the guest list for the season premiere, discussing his role in the upcoming apocalyptic satire film Digger. Directed by Academy Award-winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu, the film is scheduled for release in UK cinemas on 2 October 2026.
Florence Pugh will also join the sofa to promote the new Netflix adaptation of East of Eden. The series, which sees Pugh in a lead role, is set to premiere on the streaming platform on 1 October.
Representing the London stage, comedian and actor Lolly Adefope will discuss her West End debut in Oh, Mary!. Adefope is set to take over the lead role in the production at the Trafalgar Theatre from 28 September, with her run continuing until 5 December 2026.
Rounding out the first group of guests is John Bishop, who will be discussing his new BBC Saturday night quiz programme, Wisdom of the Crowd. The new series is produced by the creative team behind the successful format The 1% Club.

Viewers may notice a more consistent run of episodes this year, as Norton has transitioned the production to a continuous filming block schedule. This move was reportedly implemented to maintain the show’s momentum and the host’s personal interest in the long-running format.
