Ambitious Sarah set to open new state-of-the-art salon as Bognor business proves to be a real beauty

Sarah Elliott

Ambitious Sarah Elliott knows she has a beauty of a business, as do her clients at Regis Holistic and Beauty — so much so that the Bognor Regis businesswoman has decided to meet the growing demand for her services by expanding.

And that means Sarah and her team are opening a new, state-of-the-art salon in Aldwick Road in the town — opposite the current premises.

Sarah, a highly qualified and hugely experienced massage therapist, explains: “We’re not moving far — just the width of Aldwick Road. But the move is a much bigger one in terms of where we are going with the business.

“We’ve been delighted with how we have grown in the past couple of years and for us to keep up with demand this move makes so much sense. It means we can offer more of everything in a more spacious, more comfortable environment.

“We’ve recruited some exciting new members of staff to join our team and can’t wait to put it all into practice when we open for business tomorrow (November 13). And we’re holding a meet-the-team event on November 22 with bubbly, treats and goodies and we’d love to see everyone. There will be discounts on products and treatments, ideal with Christmas coming up.”

The new Regis Holistic and Beauty will boast an extensive range of holistic and beauty treatments, as well as expert nail technicians going about their business headed up by Tracey Burrell. Also joining the team are Lisa Nandi who does aromatherapy and Indian head massage and Debbie Holloway, an expert in Eve Taylor facials and reflexology.

Donna Shepperson, who does microblading, lash lifts and Eve Taylor facials, is also coming on board, while fitness coach Vince Sanders will offer sports massage and rehabilitation. Caron Shepherd will offer hypnotherapy and counselling, and hypnotherapy, NLP and regression will be offered by Jodie Maskell. Ros Norton is joining, too; she is an aesthetically trained nurse and offers Botox and fillers.

And mum-of-two Sarah, who has won awards for her work, says the company ethos of putting clients first will not be lost in the new salon. She said: “We like to think that putting people first is essential, as well as sourcing and using top quality products, and the lovely, relaxed rapport we have with clients benefits both parties hugely because of this.

“We take great care in choosing the products which are used. we have to be satisfied that they match my clients’ expectations so we are quite selective over what is used.

“One of our most popular treatments come from the Spa Find range, which are rather luxurious. In fact, in our area the only other place you can find these treatments is in Butlin’s Spa.

“The Spa Find hot stone body polish treatment is one which a good number of clients like a lot. It’s a full body exfoliation before you are cocooned in Spa Find oil while you enjoy a hot stone back massage to melt away tension and soothe aches and pains, leaving you feeling relaxed and pampered.”

Add to that the use of top quality products (not for sale on the High Street) such as those made by award-winning Eve Taylor and Spa Find, and Magnetix (available to purchase to use at home and are ideal gifts to treat your loved ones), and it is easy to understand why Regis Holistic and Beauty has proved so popular.

That’s not all. Among the other services on offer: a wide range of massages from aromatherapy to deep tissue massage, and from Magnetix therapy to Indian head massage.

You can indulge yourself a little with a specialised callus peel foot treatment, or perhaps you would benefit from an advanced facial, or a relaxing hopi ear candles treatment. Also available is waxing, reflexology and hot stone massages.

Sarah added: “I have recently been trained by Kim Lawless who is so good she is known as the ‘waxing queen’. Students travel from abroad, including Japan, to be trained by her. I use award winning waxes as well.”

If you need a confidence boost, maybe a non-surgical facelift will suit you. This treatment encourages the production of collagen and elastin, which are the essential proteins for youthful, glowing skin. The facial muscles are also lifted and toned and lines and wrinkles are softened in the process.

And Sarah concludes: “We also offer anti-wrinkle injections, eyelash and eyebrow tinting — we really are a one-stop shop for all of your beauty and holistic needs.”
