The campus was praised for its specialist facilities and practical learning environment.

Specialist facilities and student feedback

The campus is known for its practical, hands-on learning environment. Brinsbury’s facilities include a fully operational working farm, a dedicated animal care centre, an equine arena, and a traditional forge. Reviewers frequently highlight the quality of these specialist resources and the expertise of the teaching staff.

The wider Chichester College Group was rated ‘Good’ overall by Ofsted in February 2025. During that inspection, the group’s apprenticeship and adult learning programmes were singled out for ‘Outstanding’ judgements.

Visiting the campus

For prospective students from the West Sussex region interested in the land-based qualifications offered at the site, the college holds regular open events. These sessions allow visitors to view the livestock, stables, and workshops.

The campus continues to play a primary role in regional education, particularly for those pursuing careers in the rural economy. In addition to its vocational courses, the site is known for its community involvement, including hosting seasonal events and agricultural demonstrations.
