Republica have announced a series of 30th-anniversary celebrations for their signature hit “Ready to Go”, including a UK-wide tour and a special double-vinyl reissue of their debut album.
The technopop anthem has remained a staple of British alternative rock since its release. Fronted by Saffron (Samantha Sprackling), who previously performed as a backing vocalist for the dance act N-Joi, the band became a defining presence of the mid-90s music scene.
A new 30th-anniversary edition of the debut album is scheduled for release on 9 October 2026. The double-vinyl set is expected to include “A Day at the Races”, a previously unreleased live recording from the band’s performance at Crystal Palace in August 1997. According to reports from The Line of Best Fit, the reissue aims to provide a comprehensive look at the era when the band achieved international success.
The “30 Years of Ready To Go” tour will follow the album release in 2026. The tour includes several dates across the South Coast and wider region:
- 17 October: The Brook, Southampton
- 6 November: Chalk, Brighton
Tickets for the tour dates are currently available through major national outlets including Ticketmaster and See Tickets. The shows are expected to feature the band’s original energetic sound, which Saffron has previously described as being intended as a “battlecry”.

While the band first rose to prominence three decades ago, “Ready to Go” has seen a sustained resurgence in recent years.
