Brighton-born singer-songwriter Mike Rosenberg, better known as Passenger, returned to his roots on Sunday 6 September 2026 for a headline performance at Hove Park.
The milestone concert took place 18 years after Rosenberg began his career busking on the streets of Brighton in 2008. The performance marked a full-circle moment for the artist, who rose to international fame with the hit single Let Her Go after years of independent touring and street performing.
Regional support and line-up
The homecoming show featured a full supporting line-up of folk and acoustic artists, including The Staves, John Smith, and Ber. Representing the wider Sussex music scene, Worthing-based singer-songwriter Chris Simmons also performed, bringing a local West Sussex connection to the regional event.

Official standard tickets for the performance were marketed at approximately £57 to £60.
To manage the arrival of fans at the park, Brighton & Hove Buses issued specific travel guidance, recommending the use of the 5B service to reach the Goldstone Crescent area. No major road closures were implemented, though traffic was notably busier around the park during the egress of the crowd following the headline set.
