Restoration work is planned for Hove Park following the Live at Hove Park festival.
The event, which took place on 5 and 6 September 2026, featured headliners including The Levellers and Passenger. Following the conclusion of the festival, portions of the park grounds were left in need of restoration.
Restoration plans
The planned restoration will involve technical ground rolling to level the surface followed by extensive reseeding. These measures are intended to restore the grassed areas frequently used for local activities.
According to Brighton and Hove News, work is expected to begin as soon as the ground conditions allow, though a specific timeline has not yet been finalised. The process is being monitored to determine the most effective window for reseeding during the autumn months.
