Peacock has revealed the 23-strong celebrity cast for the fifth season of the American version of The Traitors, following a record-breaking month for the hit reality franchise. The upcoming series, which is filmed at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands, features a mix of Hollywood actors, reality television veterans and major UK stars.
Leading the lineup is Scottish comedian and Love Island narrator Iain Stirling, alongside British actor Dominic Monaghan, known for his roles in The Lord of the Rings and Lost. They will be joined by Broadway legend Kristin Chenoweth and RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Bianca Del Rio.
The announcement comes as the series experiences a surge in critical acclaim. In September 2026, the show secured seven Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Reality Competition Program. Host Alan Cumming, the show’s flamboyant master of ceremonies, is also confirmed to return for the fifth season.
While the celebrity edition is scheduled to premiere in 2027, the franchise has already secured its long-term future. On 16 September 2026, Peacock announced a multi-season renewal, guaranteeing that The Traitors US will continue through to at least its eighth season.
The competition remains focused on a group of contestants divided into “Faithfuls” and “Traitors.” For viewers in the UK, previous seasons of the US version have been licensed to the BBC and remain available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
A confirmed UK broadcast date for Season 5 has not yet been announced, but the series is expected to follow its predecessors in appearing on British screens shortly after its American debut.
