Glastonbury 2027: Oasis ruled out as Emily Eavis confirms three headliners are booked

Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis has confirmed that Oasis will not headline the festival when it returns to Worthy Farm in 2027.

The confirmation officially ends weeks of speculation following the band’s “Live ’27” world tour reveal on 14 September. Despite a notable gap in the band’s itinerary on Sunday, 27 June 2027—the final night of the festival—organisers have clarified that the Manchester rock group is not part of the line-up.

Eavis stated that all three headliners for the 2027 event have already been booked. While their identities remain under wraps, the confirmation rules out the Gallagher brothers, who were widely rumoured to be planning a Worthy Farm appearance as part of their reunion.

Liam Gallagher had also used social media on 22 August to downplay the Glastonbury rumours, though fans continued to speculate until the official tour dates were released.

Ticket registration and deadlines

With Glastonbury taking a fallow year in 2026 to allow the land to recover, demand for the 2027 festival is expected to be high. Organisers have released the official schedule for those hoping to attend the Somerset event, which will run from 23 to 27 June 2027.

Anyone wishing to buy a ticket must be registered beforehand. The deadline for registration is 5:00 PM BST on Friday, 25 September 2026. Existing registrations can be checked or updated on the official Glastonbury Festivals website.

Tickets for the 2027 festival are priced at £408, which includes a £5 booking fee.

The ‘Live ’27’ Tour

The Oasis tour, which was preceded by a series of high-profile drone displays in Manchester, marks the first time Noel and Liam Gallagher will perform together since the band’s acrimonious split in 2009.

While the 27 June gap in their schedule will not be filled by a Glastonbury appearance, the “Live ’27” tour is set to cover major venues across Europe and North America. The tour schedule includes a residency in Manchester, but fans hoping for a Somerset detour will now have to look elsewhere to see the band.

For the festival itself, the focus remains on the three booked headliners. With Oasis excluded, speculation is likely to shift toward other major international artists as the ticket registration deadline approaches.
