Sean Power was the first runner home for Bognor Tone Zone competitors in the Arundel 10k race with an excellent time of 40.56.
The blazing sun shone down on the runners over the Bank Holiday weekend at a challenging course where runners do a lap of the town before heading through the castle gates for the two-and-a-half mile climb before turning and returning to the town.

Next up was Duncan Stephenson-Gill who finished second in his age category with 43.20, he was closely followed by Juliet Stallard with 44.28, third in her age category and an impressive three minutes faster than her time from 2016.
Along with Paul Jarvis, these four runners also took home the fastest team prize for the race. Juliet was also in action the previous weekend at the gruelling Slindon Slog 10-mile race where she finished in 1hr 36mins, just behind Mark Green and Andy Mair (1.34 and 1.35).
