Bognor folk pay tribute to the fallen – ‘we will remember them’

Veterans will be joining hundreds of people at a remembrance ceremony as we honour those who died in conflict.

The tribute will take place on Friday 11th November at 10:30 am at the Rose Green Council Offices.

There will also be the traditional parade through Bognor town centre on Sunday, November 13 and a service at The War Memorial.

Those looking to take part in the parade are asked to head to the Library in Bognor Regis at 10:30 am, where you will be led by the Bognor army cadet’s standard bearer, who will carry the union flag.Paraders will be marching through the town and finish at the memorial in Clarence Road, where a wreath laying ceremony and two minute silence will take place.

Aldwick’s Royal British Legion are the organisers of this fitting tribute and on Sunday they will be supplying free transport from their HQ in Hewarts Lane.
