First there was pop icon David Bowie. Now, from the brush of talented Bognor artist Chloe Dowsett, comes a huge depiction of a power-packed muscleman dubbed “the beast”.
For in her follow-up piece after her well received painting of Bowie on the side of a town centre wall, part of the Pier Hotel & Bar, the queen of the murals has created a giant image of Britain’s strongest man, Eddie Hall.

This time the giant image is inside; and is set to provide a massive backdrop to inspire clients at a new fitness suite set to open in June at popular VK Gym.
The feature took Chloe two days to complete – and this time of asking she worked in collaboration with Mark Haime, owner of West Sussex Painting Co.
Chloe says working on the piece required a huge amount of concentration. And she is delighted with the finished artwork. She said: “It was a challenge but one which I enjoyed. Working with Mark was great and I am grateful for the chance to work with him and his company.”

Mark, himself a keen fitness fan, said: “Chloe is a genius and it was great teaming up with her for this project, and hopefully we can work together in the future. And that said, I should remind people that we can create wall art at your home or place of work.”
Chloe hit the headlines with her Bowie mural
Man-mountain Hall, who has been crowned Britain’s strongest man six years running, has yet to see the art. And Mark added: “I am meeting up with Eddie soon at an expo in Birmingham and we are looking forward to his response to seeing this amazing work which, thanks to Chloe’s eye for detail, manages to capture his strength, dedication and desire to succeed.”
So what next for Chloe? She said: “I’d love to paint an alien riding a dinosaur.” We can’t wait…
