Reynolds furniture store boss Dominic Reynolds could soon be greeting customers at the Bognor Regis store dressed as Father Christmas imploring them to have a merry old time.
For Dominic is considering pledging to don the Santa get-up as part of the store’s charity work alongside Save the Children UK.
Reynolds have signed up to take part in #ChristmasJumperDay for the organisation and manager Freya Reynolds is confident she can persuade him to wear the famous red suit and offer a warm “ho, ho, ho” to customers.
She explained: “We are trying to persuade Dominic to come in a full Santa suit so if you’re available on the 15th of December come in and see if we were successful. You can text TEAMREY1867 to 70050 to donate £5.”
Meanwhile, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the High Street store. Freya adds: “Our festive window this year has a quirky country theme, styled with yellow and gold. It actually features the Stag New England dining and occasional range and the Alexander & James Eden sofa. Well done to our Lesley for making it beautiful as usual.
“We are currently being busy little elves getting ready for our winter sale which starts on the 14th December! Everything in store will be reduced including all the big brands such as Ercol, Hypnos, G Plan, Himolla, Stressless and Parker Knoll.”
Meanwhile, Matthew Reynolds says staff are ready to embrace Christmas fully. And to prove it he donned some comic antlers when he joined Alfredo Clark and Michael Marland ahead of the festive countown at the town centre store.
And he said: “It goes without saying that we love Christmas here at Reynolds and we hope that is reflected in the way we have decorated the store and our whole approach to the most wonderful time of the year.”
